WSC was awarded a contract by Excelsior College based out of Albany, NY to expand our web-based Generic PWR simulator and hosting services to accommodate 60 students simultaneously running the GPWR simulator (increase of 40 seats) and integrate the simulator lessons with the colleges Learning Management System (LMS). The web-based simulator uses HTML5 HMI graphics, which are compatible with any mainstream browser (replacing the previously used Silverlight HMI). The 1400 MW two-loop GPWR serves as a training platform for the college's online nuclear engineering technology bachelor's degree program.
